Past And Present

"I kinda wanted to do a new 'tag' thing. Of making a picture of past you(like 10) and present you. Pretty much just a little thing of wanting to see what everyone(who does it) was like. Also as a 'if I could tell myself something' thing. If I could, I would just tell her, I know it'll be rough but, hang in there, some of it is worth it all. "

If I could tell my past self anything it would probably be that life really sucks sometimes, but when it doesn't, it's pretty rad. I know you're addicted to self harm and right now you're in the mind set that it's fine and you don't need to stop, but hun please, try. I'm still in therapy now and we're on all sorts of medications trying to fix the mess that those people put us in, so please just try to start earlier, okay? It might help us out a bit. We have scars from our waist to our knees, you can't wear shorts that go above your knees now, not that we'd want to anyways, but hey, it's always nice to have the option right? By the way, Yuki is going to try and get you involved in some heavy shit with religion. You're going to join a cult and do some pretty dumb and dangerous shit and hurt a lot of people...get out. Get. The. Fuck. Out. Don't do it, she thinks it's for the better but darling it isn't, trust me. 

Those kids that bully you? Fuck 'em, don't let them walk all over you. Fight back, dude. Not physically but verbally, stand up for yourself. Stop letting your friends walk all over you. Because of them and us not standing up for ourselves, we have anxiety and depression. You can't even cross the street without holding someone's hand because you're afraid the drivers will beep at you. You can't buy things on your own because youre afraid the cash register guy will yell at you. You can't talk on the phone because you're fuckin horrified of it, but you know that weird but awesome chick Ashley? Yeah, she's your best friend and you've had a thing for her for a whiiiiiile. You're gunna make so many friends in high school, you dont even know. You're gunna have the best years of your life, kiddo. The first day of sophomore year, your friend clay will want to introduce you to a blonde kid. Be friends with him but I swear to god if you date that mother fucker we are gunna get fucked over. You wasted a good year and then some hung up on that ass hole, he's gunna cheat on you over and over, tell you that other girls are prettier, hes gunna make you sleep on the floor, and treat you like shit. We are so much better than that. Don't let it happen, please. 

You don't have to hate the world anymore either, it gets pretty alright! You're gunna get drunk, you're gunna get high, don't be scared. You're gunna be more open with your mom, your dad is gunna move out, you're gunna be in an entirely different place. Again, it's all good. Life is pretty rad right now, aside from the crippling anxiety and the depression. We're doing alright, your friend Ash might move in soon, going into senior year now, it's gunna be awesome. Just live life happily and be smart about it, help people out. Stand up for others. You're a huge supporter of TWLOHA and it's pretty fab, you're involved with the anti-bullying committee, you are SO involved with the school it's unreal.  Talk to all the people in shop it is wonderful, they're so nice; Jared, Taylor, Kristina, Rita, all the upper classmen, talk to them. Please...you're gunna lose one of them so much sooner than you thought to an awful tragedy. But you're gunna be strong. <3

It gets so so SO much better.
